چکیده

In 3D printing of cement-based materials, it is imperative to ensure geometrical consistency the print with as-designed/modeled system. Time-dependent, deformable systems like concrete present multiple challenges in ensuring appropriate post-print quality. This paper presents a suite point cloud comparison techniques, which can be used individually or combination, quantify amount mismatch between as-designed and as-printed systems, using morphological analysis. A semi-quantitative error distance method proposed, easily accomplished direct mapping actual reference clouds. accuracy index (PAI) based on centroidal distances proposed as global quantifier Furthermore, topological set theory (TST)-based approach determine layer-wise overlap, helps isolating localized inconsistencies. The methods are tested variety small cuboids, further verified larger mortar print. It expected that these methodologies suitably adapted indicate efficiency print, after fact, during printing. latter facilitates in-line quality checks, turn lead real-time alterations materials processes.

Mathematical Morphology and Poset Geometry

The aim of this paper is to characterize morphological convex geometries (resp., antimatroids). We define these two structures by using closure operators, and kernel operators. We show that these convex geometries are equivalent to poset geometries. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification. 37F20, 06A07.

Computational-geometry-based Plant Organs Classification and Foliage 3D Reconstruction from Point Cloud Data

In recent years Terrestrial Laser Scaner (TLS) is widely used in complex scene survey and space objects measurement, however, due to the trees’ irregular and complex morphology, also the scanning results be effected by the wind blowing and occlusion effect, so quantifying the 3-D morphology structure and forestry index of an individual tree or a forest stand from Point Cloud Data (PCD) is a cha...

A SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS FOR ENHANCING IDA EFFICIENCY IN FRAGILITY ANALYSIS OF 3D REINFORCED CONCRETE FRAMES

Due to several uncertainties  which  affect structural responses of Reinforced concrete (RC) frames,  it is sensibly required  to  apply  a vulnerability analysis tool such as fragility curve. To  construct an analytical fragility curve, the incremental dynamic analysis (IDA) method has been extensively used as an applicable seismic analysis too...

Towards 3D Point cloud based object maps for household environments

This article investigates the problem of acquiring 3D object maps of indoor household environments, in particular kitchens. The objects modeled in these maps include cupboards, tables, drawers and shelves, which are of particular importance for a household robotic assistant. Our mapping approach is based on PCD (point cloud data) representations. Sophisticated interpretation methods operating o...

Assessment Methodology for Anomaly-Based Intrusion Detection in Cloud Computing

Cloud computing has become an attractive target for attackers as the mainstream technologies in the cloud, such as the virtualization and multitenancy, permit multiple users to utilize the same physical resource, thereby posing the so-called problem of internal facing security. Moreover, the traditional network-based intrusion detection systems (IDSs) are ineffective to be deployed in the cloud...
